How can I see both time and distance for an activity?

Hi guys,

How can I see both the distance I ran and the time it took when I'm looking at a running activity in Garmin Connect? For example, I ran 5.08 km and I want to see how much time it took for the first 4 km, or for the km between 2 and 4. There are different graphs, but all of them seem to show various parameters against time or distance, never both of them in conjunction. That sounds like a very basic feature, but it's either missing or I'm failing to see something quite basic. Any ideas?

Cheers,
Dimitar

... or for more diversity you could also set up an automated upload to Strava. It has "complicated" features like showing time and distance at the same time. I don't like Strava too much but I like garmin connect even less... .
  • I also came looking for how to see distance against time (trying to extract my 10 mile split from my half marathon time... i thought i was being dumb, but
    a) this thread confirmed it wasn't there... and
    b) this thread pointed at the obvious workaround (export to endomondo or strava).
I'll add that I was already auto exporting to mapmyrun... and low and behold what i want is there too (Time, Distance, elevation & pace all on the same chart).
    Thanks.

You can create a segment and then select Leaderboard - "Only Me".
This will show all your runs with time on this segment.

You can create many segments, and if you will run again at the same place, you can quickly see new times.

If you need to check time only once, on some not useful track, then you can delete segment after checking.
So, yes, would be nice to have this option also on the graphs.
