Cycling VO2 max from Fenix 2 on Garmin Connect since April?

Hi everyone,

I have a Fenix 2 and I don't run, I just ride and swim. It's been a bugbear of mine for a while that Garmin wouldn't offer a VO2 max calculation for the Fenix 2 based on cycling data, only running. My VO2 max chart on GC stopped updating 2-3 years ago when I stopped running.

Then last week I noticed it had started again back in April. It's 2 units higher than it was previously (feasible) but must be based on cycling as that's the only activity I do with the HR strap on.

Anyone else notice this? Did I miss the memo?
Good outcome either way.
Thanks,
GM
