I have two issues/questions with the course editing in Garmin Connect.
1) When I create a course in Garmin Connect it does not always display the elevation profile. When I start to create a course, it often shows the elevation profile, however as soon as I save the course the elevation profile disappears, so I'm unable to send the profile to my device. I've been trying to edit the course to see if the elevation profile returns but the elevation section just says "Loading". I read this was a problem historically and heard it had been resolved but I've been having this issue for months now.
2) When I save an activity as a course, the editing functionality seems extremely poor. If I try and delete one point of the course (as I often do when I make a mistake in a course) it often wipes the whole route and takes it back to the start. When I try and drag a bit of the course to amend the route I lose most of the route.
