Intensity minutes

Hi all,
I understand how intensity minutes are worked out (vigorous 2x moderate etc) but I cant figure out how the total is calculated. For example:-
My week is Monday to Monday
I have done 2 cycling activities this week. 1)59 mins and 50 secs. 2)24 mins and 23 secs
My intensity minutes are at 204 minutes made up of.....24mins moderate+90 mins(x2) vigorous =204 min.
Any ideas how its got to this total as it just doesn't tally up?
Id just like to understand how its worked out so I can give myself goals to hit.

Cheers

You did not indicate what device you have. The IM minutes are calculated on the device.

For the VAHR, and probably others, you don't need to be doing an activity to get IM, but it more like to be accumulated during an activity.

Look at the daily break down of IM and see if you got any on days that you did do an activity.

Yes sorry, it is a VAHR. And my IM haven't accumulated unless I've done an activity. My IM were showing 204 last night and are still the same right now.

Intensity minutes accumulate based on a proprietary algorithm so no one knows for sure how it counts in detail.

You don't need to set activities to accumulate minutes. I've had my VAHR for months and I have never once entered an activity. I just let its automation figure it out and that works well enough for me. Since the first week I have only twice failed to accumulate my goal number of IM.

Go above some threshold and the IMs start to register. Not certain if this is a heart rate, cadence or combination. Go to the display and if it's blinking it is counting. Stay blinking for at least 10 minutes continuously without break and the number starts going up.

Go above some other threshold and the numbers go up 2 every minute.
