Garmin Fenix 5X Plus, also just lost orange bar in “current” field within insights. I can still see it for previous months, but not current. Running current software on device and iOS Connect app. I’m assuming they broke or disabled this in an update. I’m in the US so not sure it’s a GDPR issue.
My "current" insights have stopped as of late October 2019. I can still see my monthly insights for any completed month (say, September 2019). My daily watch is the Garmin Vivosmart HR+. I haven't tried any of my older Garmins (some the size of a brick) but I don't think the insight problem is watch specific. At age 72, I love insights as the graphs show me against my peers rather than against young people. Young people probably love insights as the graphs show them against their peers rather than being contaminated with geezer data. ;-)
I've got a new Forerunner 945, my first Garmin device, and no orange for any insights. It MAY have been present when I originally set the watch up but I've upgraded the firmware to 2.80 and haven't had any orange bar since then. This is on the Garmin Connect iOS app and the web site. I can work out where I am but the orange bar would be really useful. Also, the web site doesn't remember/know my age but the app does.
I have a Garmin 5X Plus too, orange bar shows for September 2019 and back...but not in “current” view. Did 4.24.1 update today in IOS for GC, but no luck.
I am using a Fenix 5.
