Frozen / can't power off (hard reset also hasn't worked)

Used Garmin fine this morning and transferred data as usual. Did second exercise and went to transfer data and the screen got stuck saying 'Transferring Data'. The bar is not coming across; it is not syncing with Garmin Connect and display is frozen. It will not power off either. I have tried both soft and hard resets but nothing is working. Also cannot connect to charge (or at least the display does not show it is charging and no usual beep when first connecting to charge). Only option seems to be to let it run out of battery and 'HOPE' it will charge after this. Any suggestions?

    You will probably need to contact Garmin support.

    But you might try asking this is the forum for your device.

    You did not indicate what device you are having the problem with.
