Connect - > Strava distance error

I seem to be having an issue where from Connect -> Strava the distance is being completely lost (from 7.35mi -> 0.2mi) the remaining data seems to be fine such as time.

The response I had from Strava is "Somehow the distance stream is getting switched, but if the map is complete usually I can get it back. I might suggest sharing this with Garmin if it's a recent thing as it could be something with the export process. We haven't changed our interpretation of the file in any way. I'm happy to fix any you send my way."

IF Garmin have recently changed their file structure, and I understand they have, then it's up to 3rd parties to change what they do. By all means talk to Garmin, but you can be certain their reply will be that it's up to Strava to sort things out. As long as it all works on the Garmin side, you can hardly blame them.
