Cycling cadence data issue in GC

Hi everyone,

I'm reporting an issue on the garmin connect data regarding cycling to undertsand if this is already well known and how to solve that.

I have a garmin edge 520 that I sync after every ride through the Garmin Mobile app for Android (through a LG G3 phone if this makes any difference): since 16th of February 2017 I noticed that the cadence data on GC is screwed up in the sense that both avg and max Cadence is 1. The graph is there and if I scroll it I see the data, but the statistics at the bottom (and also the data on the app) shows just 1 for both avg and max.

I normally edit the track after syncing to change name, type of ride (rdb vs mtb): immediately after syncing the cadence data stats are correct but after little time (I start to suspect that it is after I edit) it's wrong.

A part for knowing what is the reason and how to solve, I also wanted to know how I can mass-fix the rides since middle February without needing to pass through each of them downloading/eliminating/uploading again.

thanks
Luca
  • Just for future archive search: I got reply today from Garmin assistance that this should be a Andoid App issue, fixed with the last update.

I'll let you know if I see that the problem is not solved at the next session, otherwise let's conisder the problem over.

    thanks

It's the editing the activity in Mobile Connect that causes the issue. Had you edited on the web it wouldn't have happened.
