Writing and Scheduling your own training plan

Can anyone help.

I am a endurance runner, and have a training plan I use each year. The problem is, as far as I am aware, the only way I can schedule my plans currently is by just adding the applicable workouts to the calendar, when I want to do them. This is time intensive. Isn't there a way where you can export what you have scheduled as a training plan, like the ones that are free on Connect, and schedule it to start and the workouts be added like they would from a download plan?

Thanks in advance.

  • Unfortunately there isn't at the moment - it would be a really useful feature. At one time there were plans available on Runners World that you could import but those disappeared long ago. I guess the only way to move this forward is for lots of people to contact Garmin with the request
  • You can(could) do this in Garmin Training Centre. Not sure if it is still possible to transfer the plan though.
