Exporting splits from an indoor cycle exports as a run?

I have this niggling problem in that if I export an indoor cycling activity it doesn't display any of the cycling metrics ie power but believes this is a run and shows running metrics (which are mostly zero!)

The actual info is all in Garmin connect, and I can see it via the web interface, it is just the export that fails.

Thanks but neither of those address my issue. I can export fine, but when I export an indoor cycling splits it believes it is a run.

If I export an outdoor cycle it is fine.

Have you selected the Average Power and Max Power columns for display in the Activities table and for export?

no I am simply choosing the option Export splits to CSV. There is nothing to chose.

From WITHIN THE SPECIFIC ACTIVITY, Click the (Gear) in the top right corner, then click export splits to CSV.

Does anyone else see this issue? It's NOT exporting activities that is the issue, it is exporting SPLITS to CSV from within the activity.
