Garmin Connect issues

I recently updated my Connect app for iOS. now every time i open the app i have to re sign in and re add my Fenix 3 HR. I have never had an issue like this before. any suggestions to keep my account logged in?

Delete the device from the app and in Settings, Bluetooth in that order (if not already done)
Delete the app.
Reinstall the app
Reconnect the watch
