WEIGHT GRAPH ISSUE: Old weights shifted back of one day

I have logged weights starting from 27 Feb 2011 until Today, when I went to check the measurement loaded from Garmin weight scale and I realized that all previous weights were shifted back by one day (Today weight is inserted correctly).

My last weight (prior to Today) was March 22, 2017 but in the graph is shown as March 21, 2017 and so all previous weight until the first (in Feb 2011).

The weights were inserted manually (or via .fit) until March 11, 2017 after that, I bought the Garmin weight scale.

Of course I checked the weights with the logged data via other Garmin independent applications and the data were correctly shown.

No one has noticed this issue?

Thanks
  • Yes, and it puzzles me. I use a Withings scale linked to Garmin Connect via MyFitnessPal. Other sites are linked directly.

When I weigh myself, my weight syncs across to the other sites correctly (on the right day and time). The only site it doesn't is Garmin Connect. I worked out that it's a time zone issue on Garmin Connect (I started a thread discussing it). I am at GMT + 10:30 and my Garmin Connect Mobile calendar doesn't change days until 10:30 am. This is where the discrepancy comes from.

You should be able to reproduce what I see. What time zone are you located in?

    Hi michaeljswann, thanks for reply
From what I understood, your problem occurs during synchronize phase; i haven't issue in synchronize phase, but from 25 Mar 2017 all my "old" measures are shifted back of one day.
My previous data was recorded correctly but from 25 Mar 2017 are shown shifted; in your case is MyFitnessPal/Garmin synchronization that don't work (maybe GMT interpretation or maybe another fault).

    My GMT is +1

    Examples:
Yesterday and Today weights are correctly recorded on Garmin Connect, while the weighing of the 22 Mar 2017 is reported now as performed in date 21 Mar 2017 (one day back).

Now, that Garmin has taken in charge the issue (thanks to GarminBAB), hope they find soon a solution to both problems (which are perhaps related).

Thank goodness. This has been an issue for a long time.
