Forerunner 235 & Sleep Information

I just purchased a Forerunner 235 over the weekend and so far I love it. Its a bit different than my Vivoactive but I am so happy to finally get rid of the HR strap that has been chafing me for years.
My question has to do with the sleep feature that I discovered. I was showing my doctor this feature at my appointment today and he would like me to track my sleep and get the info to him. Is there a way I can do this from the connect app or from my laptop? What all does it entail? I was showing him the charts on he connect app but two days of info is not quite enough. He is a sleep expert.
Thank you in advance.
  • Hmmm, If you want to show your sleep data to a doctor, then the best solution would be to take your laptop with internet connection to the doctor's and show it to him in the Garmin Connect website.

However I'd like you to know, that the FR235 does not trace sleep from a technical point of view. It traces movement of your wrist and based on that tries to guess when you fall asleep, when you wake up, and recognize phases of sleep. Basing on my own experience and feedback from others on this forum I'd like to warn you that it is not always reliable and probably unsuitable for medical purposes, especially for a sleep specialist.
