I went on a bike ride this morning and my HR monitor died quickly meaning I was lacking HR data for much of the ride. I noticed that none of the minutes of my activity were applied towards my activity minutes for the week. I find it to be somewhat simplistic that this happened. I was biking quite hard and don't see any reason why some of this time would be able to be counted as Intensity minutes. Anyone else want to weigh in?
I don't know what device you are using, but the VAHR manual specifically says that HR data is the best for intensity minutes. But without HR it can figure IM, but only moderate, based on step speed.
But since you are not walking/jogging, but biking you are not accumulating steps.
