Since the message asking everyone to confirm their usernames for the latest upgrade, nobody in my group page can look at or share routes. We just get an error message and a blank screen, we can only access routes we have added ourselves which defeats the object. At least three of my group have contacted Garmin separately all with no joy. Has anybody got any ideas all the rides are open to view by friends so it's not a settings issue.
I have been having issues with group permissions since January. When I created our group all members could access routes I had added from the courses tab. I started to use the calendar but group members were unable to access the courses from the calendar. I reported this to Garmin support in January. When the privacy policy updates came into effect on 14th February group members were not able to download from the calendar or the courses tab. Garmin support responded to say the issue was because the courses were private and not public - to me this defeats the purpose of having a private group. Garmin support changed the privacy on a couple of my group shared courses to make the public, this made it possible for group members to access the course from the calendar if it was already there, but removed the course from the courses tab so I could no longer re-use it in the calendar. I also found that if you edit a course you have added to the group it will be removed from the group when it is saved. All of this is logged and still open with Garmin support with the following references
I too am having issues sharing courses I have created. Both the padlock (unlocked) and share icon are greyed out. As it's a public course created using openstreetmap it should be a simple cut and paste of the web address. As it is with older courses I have done. This just results in getting to the 'you don't have privileges screen. Which also doesn't let me in to the course when I enter my password.
There are some security issues here that have started since the software update in Feb I think.
