Manually adding activities in Garmin Connect - doesn't work

Sometime I wear off my Vivoactive HR during a fitness activity, then I would like to add it through Garmin Connect (but also in MyFitnessPal) but when I try to insert it manually, the calories adjustment through Garmin Connect decrease of the amount of calories of the activity itself.
Example: if my daily activity in MFP has a general correction of 700 calories recorded by Vivoactive HR, l if add an activity of 1 hour at 200 calories not logged by Vivoactive HR, MFP shows correctly the activity of 200 calories but the Garmin Connect Adjustment decrease to 500 calories.
I log the activity at the right time and I already checked the time zone was correct both in MFP and GC.
My question is: if the Vivoactive HR did not record almost anything in the timeframe it was weared off, why ot should take off the 200 calories form the adjustment. I could understand if it took off the basal metabolism calories of that hour, but not all the calories of the activity.
  • In spite of what you stated in the title you chose for the thread, it sounds to me that you successfully added activities to Garmin Connect manually.

Is the Garmin Connect Adjustment in question something displayed in Garmin Connect? If your issue is with the Garmin Connect Adjustment reported by MyFitnessPal, then you should be asking the folks who operate MyFitnessPal, instead of looking to Garmin and/or fellow Garmin product users to give you an answer to your satisfaction.
