Activities Widget Issue on Dashboard

Hi All
I am wondering if anyone else is having the same issue with the Activities Widget on the Dashboard page.
The last two days the map on the widget has dissappeared, as well as the segment icon, and been replaced with a heart rate graph.
Scrolling back, the map is still present for activities before the 2 days, and all is good on the full page of the activitiy
Is there anything I am doing or is the another little bug in connect?
  • Same here. No map in the Activities widget for the outdoor run I completed and uploaded a couple of hours ago
  • So it would seem it's not fixed. Worked ok for me last night including all activities previously affected, map was displayed as it should. Now it's back to the heart rate graph again.
  • Same issue - No Map in Activities Tile of Dashboard

Like the title says - Same issue - No Map in Activities Tile of Dashboard. This bug has been active for a month or so. No official response from Garmin that I know of so this is quite bizzarre. Did I mention I had to dispose of a perfectly good Garmin F-10 that was barely one year old because the battery died. And of course you cannot replace the battery on these watches so you have to buy another one. Good marketing ploy.
  • Must have missed it but todays run, still HR only no map. And really no rollback plan

This has been like this for over a month? What "fixes" could they implement that cant be rolled back?

I (still) have this problem on my windows machine (chrome).

However on my Mac it's showing the map and it's working fine (chrome and safari).

Not for me. Both Safari and Chrome on my Mac only shows the HR graph in the Activities widget, for the run I just completed and uploaded (over the mobile network, via the GCM app on my handset, while I was walking home from the park) two hours ago.

I do not upload activity records from my FR630 using Garmin Express and the USB docking cable – because either the GCM app or my home Wi-Fi network will get the job done already in the background, before I get back to my desk – so I'm not sure if that makes a difference.

I tested in on my Macbook Pro last night, same issue for me along with my Windows work laptop.

Not sure why this is such a complicated fix......

I'm sure the fix itself is very simple but it is not so straightforward to deploy new code into a production environment without going through appropriate testing and then get scheduled into a release. While this might be an annoyance to some, it certainly would not qualify as a high priority fix and I have no idea how frequently Garmin issue new releases for Connect .

They managed to deploy the new code to remove the option into the production environment. If the fix really was simple then it would have been as easy deploy that as it was to deploy the code that removes that option. So this argument doesnt hold water really.

Well, as of now, it seems to be working again. All old activities that had the HR graph in the activity widget on the dashboard have changed to the map again (Windows 7 environment).
I guess this will work for new activities as well, haven't done any today.

    Finally !!
