Activities Widget Issue on Dashboard

Former Member

Hi All
I am wondering if anyone else is having the same issue with the Activities Widget on the Dashboard page.
The last two days the map on the widget has dissappeared, as well as the segment icon, and been replaced with a heart rate graph.
Scrolling back, the map is still present for activities before the 2 days, and all is good on the full page of the activitiy
Is there anything I am doing or is the another little bug in connect?

    Même problème ....

    +1 ... ....
  • No Map of my run on activities tile of dashboard

I am having the same problem. It seems this has been going on for years for various users. What is Garmin's response to this?

Oh really? Links to the reports or complaints, please, or it didn't happen and I'm just going to regard that as hyperbole.

What is Garmin's response to this?
    In this very thread:

It helps to read the thread (tread?) before jumping on the bandwagon.
  • Same problem with no map appearing on activities tile on dashboard

I have the same problem since early March and the Garmin rep asks what browser I am using. Trouble is several other users with exactly the same problem have already reported they have switched three or four browser and yet the same problem persists. Garmin needs to debug their issues in a more timely manner or at least stop telling users the problem might be something completely unrelated.

So have I, as a fellow Garmin customer and Garmin Connect service user, but just this month is nowhere near “going on for years”, irrespective of your personal frustrations and misguided perceptions as to how urgent or serious the problem is and how high a priority it warrants. What is the impact to you as the end user, ignoring the emotional side of things? You can still see the map by clicking through to bring up the activity.

to be fair to garmin, this problem only occured early this month, and their tech support people giving the advise of to try other browsers didn't really help in giving customer confident on them. i know everyone are frustrated on the slow progress from garmin to solve this seemingly easy error, but the only thing we could do is to be patience and wait for they solve this problem..

If you look it up in the archives this problem has occurred several times over the course of several years - on and off for years - which is what I meant to say. Is that clear enough for you now?

    As I said before,

You made the claim, so it's up to you to provide evidence to support it.

Is that clear enough for you now?
I wouldn't call it clear enough, although it's certainly looking like you can't back it up.

Well, you'll just have to take my word for it my friend. Have a nice day!
