Transfer Failed for the past few days

Hello;

So I've been having a problem syncing with garmin connect the past few days.

The error is the same on the mobile app and garmin express. What happens is the mobile app can connect to the fenix 3 (that is, i can get smart notifications, I can use "find my device", and I can use "find my phone"), but not actually transfer the data from the watch to the connect web app. So I am pretty sure it's not the watch and not the bluetooth connection. I've tried reinstalling the app and restarting the phone. same thing with express on the PC (reinstall the app, restart the PC). I would like to not reset the watch as the runs I have done haven't been uploaded yet. I thought it might be an AWS issue, but that's been online for a while now so I dunno...

Edit: Also tried re-attaching the watch to the app

Any help is appreciated!

    When you run Express does Express recognize an update? Here is Express:
    http://software.garmin.com/en-US/express.html

    Delete the GPX folder/Activity folder. To do this:

    1) Connect the Garmin Fenix 3 to the computer

    2) On a pc a window will populate. On a mac the Garmin will mount as a drive allowing access. Open the Fenix

    3) Open the Garmin folder

    4) Save any files that have not been uploaded to Connect/backed up

    5) Delete the GPX folder/Activity folder.

    6) Empty the trashcan/recycle bin on your computer.

    Once you save your data try to manually upload each file to Connect.
    Manually upload data to Garmin Connect

    Thank you for choosing Garmin,
