So my FR620 has started this annoying habit of rebooting right after I stop a run and hit save. Here is what I am seeing:
- I finish a run and hit the stop button in upper RH side
- Watch comes up and asks if I want to 'save' or 'discard' workout
- I hit 'save'
- The watch then vibrates/buzzes for some 5 seconds and then reboots
- I get the garmin logo as if it was just turned on
- When it finishes the last workout shows but it is missing the last part of my run...usually the last .25-.33 mile and time.
When my last watch did this Garmin support said it was because the memory was full and that I needed to do a complete reset (and lose all of my watch data).
I did so but the issue persisted and of course a month later it went out of warranty and they it was of course a bad watch and sold me a refurb for $99.
Now the refurb watch does it. It doesnt do it every time but it seems to happen several times in a row and then it wont occur again for a couple of weeks. It's gotten to the point that I have to look at my distance/time before 'saving' it in case I have to manually add the data to the run once it uploads to GC.
Any ideas on what may be going on here? FW is updated.
