FR235 - Waiting for app

My FR235 Bluetooth does not auto sync. When I check the Bluetooth it says waiting for app. It will only sync when I open the app on my iPhone...very frustrating.

The app is enabled for background refresh on my iPhone and the device is paired. I have rebooted both.

That's normal behaviour. Sync only occurs with the app open.

Thanks. Very misleading of Garmin to call it auto sync if you have to open the app to sync activities

Quite pathetic actually
