"Segments" on Garmin Connects: which segments should I normally find there???

Good evening,
I have a question: I use Garmin Connect and Garmin Edge 1000 since October 2014. That means 3500+ Km in MTB plus 3500+ Km on road bike, for a total of more than 7000 Km...
During those 7000 Km, all automatically loaded into Garmin Connect each time, I have gone across a lot of different segments, let's say more than 50.

Why, if I select Garmin Connect, SEGMENTS, COMPLETED SEGMENTS, I only can see seven (7) segments????

What is going wrong, and how to correct it???

Again: selection choosen is SEGMENTS, then ALL COMPLETED SEGMENTS, that, in my mind, should show ALL my completed segments...
Not only 7 of them, and those that are more old.

Privacy: i setup all my bike trips with privacy set to "public"... So they are not hidden.

Plus, on segments where I was the leader, now looks like I do not even run those.
My records have been removed.
Or I have a different position/time that I had before (no, it is not because someone elsde did better : my OLD best results are no more there, they have been removed).

I think there is something seriously wrong that needs to be fixed up on my account and segments...
How can be all my single trips re-scanned by Garmin to fix the segment issue?

Thanks,
Riccardo
  • Sorry, but where are you seeing "completed segments" on Garmin Connect?
From the segments page you should just see this:

    " />">

I see you've already attempted to get assistance on the forum multiple times:
Garbin Connect just showing few segments (bug?)
Garmin Connect not showing completed segments in "SEGMENTS" tab...
NEW BUG:Segment not linked to activity in MTB profile, but OK on ROAD BIKE profile...

Not sure we're on the same page. Can you post a screenshot of your issue?
  • If I select All, then clicking the "Show More" button at the bottom of the page, I see 26 segments. This includes only running segments in my area (Atlanta and surrounding suburbs), as well segments I've completed in other areas of the USA (California, Illinois, Texas, etc.). If I select Segments crossed, I see 26 segments. This includes all segments I have crossed at some point in my running activities (~2,500 activities).

Can you post a link to an activity that you know crossed a segment and it is not showing up in segments?

It seems activities before 3-2016 (+/-) are ignored when calculating the leader boards.

It's a shame as all my best runs are before that time.
