Garmin Connect reverts back to Elevation Correction Disabled after Enabling it.

I ride with a Garmin Edge 810 and have noticed some inconsistencies with the elevation data from the barometer. Thats fine as there is the Elevation Correction feature on Garmin Connect. After I uploaded an activity I enabled Elevation Correction. Note this is set to disable by default with devices that have barometers in, which mine does. I changed this setting on Garmin Connect to enable due to the elevation inconsistencies but each time I upload an activity the seems to have reverted back to disabled under this setting.

This is very annoying, has anyone experienced this or found a work around? When I upload activities to Strava it allows me to correct the elevations for each activity. However with Garmin Connect once an activity is uploaded there doesn't seem to be a way to do this - you can only enable elevation correction so that you next activity upload receives the correction. But in my case it never gets to do it because it reverts back to disabled each time.

Thanks

    Same here...
Would like to have it always enabled...
    Thanks
  • I agree, even thought my Garmin as the barometric feature, it's not as accurate as using maps. I'm ok to have a slight different result on my Garmin while I ride, but once uploaded I would love to have to more accurate map data used. Could Garmin add a feature for a profile option that allows for a user to set the "Elev Corrections" to Enabled by default for each ride synced. It is annoying to go into each ride and set it manually. Thanks giving this feature request some considerations.
