Connect not transferring plans to training calendar (it thinks it is though)-FIXED

Please help me.... please... I need to get some sleep!
For 3 days I've tried to download training plans to my 235, they are in my Training calendar in Connect on my PC and they appear in the Calendar on my Connect app on my android phone but they do not appear in the training calendar in my 235. I've searched forums and tried fixes but no luck. Here's what happens and what I've done;
Put Garmin training plan into Connect calendar and sent to device (arrow in top R corner). Express opens and sends 43 activities to 235 via USB.
Open training calendar in 235 and message reads 'download your training calendar from garmin connect.'
So, nothing in training calendar but each activity has been placed in My Workouts in the 235, which is no good to me, I want to know what I need to do on a given day by pressing a button on my watch Training-Calendar-Today-Do Workout (which I've done for the last few months for a previous training plan).
I've completed a marathon training plan using the calendar without a problem but I can't get it to work now.

Here's what I've tried to resolve the issue;
Sign in and out of Connect after clearing history and cache on 2 computers using IE, Chrome and Edge browsers.
Disabled adblock and security settings.
Deleted training plans and workouts from calendar and then rescheduled them anew.
Checked and unchecked the activities in Calendar (2 little lines left side of Calendar view).
Synced the 235 around 40 times, checking/changing settings etc. but still the same message 'download your training calendar from garmin connect.'
Please help...........

    Fr235

    I'm following this threath already for a couple of days (yes, same problem) and I'm really getting annoyed with the duration of this problem.

    I'm already low on time and it takes me quiet some time to figure out which workout is today. It's one of the reasons I bought this watch.
    I need to sent the workouts one by one, because there are too many in my calender, so the first ones are alway getting deleted to make room for the last ones.

    Garmin, if it takes so long to fix, come with a temporary solution!

    Same thing suddenly happening to me on my Forerunner 620

    I have suffered this issue suddenly yesterday. I have to 620 watches and tried both and didn´t work in either piece. Again the same message: 'download your training calendar from garmin connect.'
  • The only way that this particular workaround would work is if you select the Arrow icon on the Training Calendar in Garmin Connect and select Send Workouts to Device.
    It doesn't work that way either.
    I changed one workout in the calendar, did as you described and started syncing my Forerunner 630 using the GC Android app. The syncing runs forever.

    Please give us an update how long you have come in your investigation and correction of the issue.

    Fix pushed to production

    A fix has been pushed out to production that resolves this issue. We would recommend deleting the workouts off of the device prior to syncing the Training Calendar once more. This will ensure that device processes all of the scheduled workouts correctly and will prevent duplicate workouts from displaying on the device. The quickest way to delete all of the workouts off of the device is to do the following:

    • Connect the device to the computer
    • Open the device as a mass storage device
    • Open the Garmin folder
    • Delete the workouts folder
    • Empty the Trash (if using a Mac)
    • Safely disconnect from the computer

    Once the workouts are deleted off of the device, send the Training Calendar from Connect once more.

    We are leaving this thread open for a little while longer. If you are still not able to sync the Training Calendar please post in this thread.
