Connect not transferring plans to training calendar (it thinks it is though)-FIXED

Please help me.... please... I need to get some sleep!
For 3 days I've tried to download training plans to my 235, they are in my Training calendar in Connect on my PC and they appear in the Calendar on my Connect app on my android phone but they do not appear in the training calendar in my 235. I've searched forums and tried fixes but no luck. Here's what happens and what I've done;
Put Garmin training plan into Connect calendar and sent to device (arrow in top R corner). Express opens and sends 43 activities to 235 via USB.
Open training calendar in 235 and message reads 'download your training calendar from garmin connect.'
So, nothing in training calendar but each activity has been placed in My Workouts in the 235, which is no good to me, I want to know what I need to do on a given day by pressing a button on my watch Training-Calendar-Today-Do Workout (which I've done for the last few months for a previous training plan).
I've completed a marathon training plan using the calendar without a problem but I can't get it to work now.

Here's what I've tried to resolve the issue;
Sign in and out of Connect after clearing history and cache on 2 computers using IE, Chrome and Edge browsers.
Disabled adblock and security settings.
Deleted training plans and workouts from calendar and then rescheduled them anew.
Checked and unchecked the activities in Calendar (2 little lines left side of Calendar view).
Synced the 235 around 40 times, checking/changing settings etc. but still the same message 'download your training calendar from garmin connect.'
Please help...........
  • Calendar nor workouts will transfer

Same problem with me today, FR630. Garmin Express does the sync, when I remove the 630 from the clamshell it says "updating", but Training Calendar has no workouts ("Download your training calendar from Garmin Connect").

The workouts are not getting into my 630 at all so the work around of accessing them from My Workouts will not work either... Ugh...
  • You have to clean up workout history on your watch. Most probably max amount of workouts are there and that's why new are not downloaded.

    Silence...

The utter silence from Garmin and so called "work around" is the most frustrating thing here...

A public announcement on Garmin Connect website would probably save the day fro quite a few that are yet to discover the issue.
It have just taken too long with little or no from that side.

Thank you for your response to the original post 6 days ago, can you let me and eveyone else know if any progress has been made with this issue and a time frame for resolution of the problem please? This will help inform the choices available to me regarding my 10 week old watch.

    So unprofessional

To the admin of this board, did the engineers release an update recently? I'm a software engineer and whenever we push something that causes a lot of issues with customers, we tend to rollback that update and resolve it internally before releasing the update again - especially if the fix may take several days to resolve.

    I absolutely agree.

For a long time I have been using Adidas equipment but wasn't satisfied because of their occasional software issues. After long consideration I switched to Garmin because I had the impression they were the experts in that field. Now here I stand proven wrong.
  • I phoned Garmin's swedish support yesterday about this issue. They haven´t heard about this problem. They created a case to check the problem.
  • Why don't remove it?

I think the best for Garmin is remove also this feature after having removed Search Engine.
    No Feature No Bugs.
Maybe someone has a bonus on ticket reduction KPI and found this way more effective than fix the software. Only possible explaination.
BTW I am scared about Garmin users of avionics and marine products...
  • Same Problem on Forerunner 220

Same problem for me that others are reporting.

I used to be able to send my workouts to my watch with no problem. Now I keep trying and after I send workouts and sync, I look at the training calendar on my watch and it just says "Download your training calendar from Garmin Connect."

That's a major downgrade in the functionality of the watch.

    Any solution now??

This is an issue that has been reported on several different devices. We are investigating why the workouts are not displaying in Traning Calendar as expected. We do apologize for any inconvenience in the meantime.

Please, are you attending this issue?

    Roll back on Garmin Express?

Anyone tried doing a rollback on their Garmin Express install to see if that will fix this?

Might want to try this when I get home from work....
