Garmin Forerunner 610 History Data

I recently had my faulty Garmin forerunner 610 replaced with a refurbished 610 - exactly the same model.
I had over 5000km in my history cumulative data ... is there any way to get this history 'loaded' back onto the new Forerunner 610?
I really would like to have this historical data data back on the watch?
Has anyone else had this issue?
  • As far as I know you can't do this as unlike many of the Garmin range you cannot actually look at the watch as an external hard drive

Out of interest why do you want to have all those old runs on your watch when you can have them on connect or even locally on a pc or phone with the right utilities?

    Old History on Watch

    Thanks for the reply.
I do have all the runs loaded into Garmin Connect so not all is lost.
I just liked having the cumulative history (total km's and total time) on the watch as it was my running mate for nearly 5 years.

On a couple of occasions I noticed that the cumulative total had zeroed ... but on the very next run when I uploaded the stats the Watch seemed to have retrieved all the historical runs (again the cumulative totals distance & time) back onto the watch.

I didn't fancy my luck as the refurbished 610 I guess is a completely different device with it's own unique identification serial number / physical device code(s).
Just hoping someone else in the Garmin running world had come across this specific issue.

Thanks for taking the time to read and reply.

    Cheers
