As soon as I downloaded the updated garmin connect app yesterday, my watch stopped syncing. Yes the bluetooth is on. I'm still getting text messages on my watch, but it is sending no information to the app.

Same, was wondering why my steps on my mobile are PC were at 4000 but were a lot more on my watch, everything seems to be syncing fine for me bar my steps
  • Did you reboot your phone and/or your device?

I'm having the same problem ever since yesterday's update. I always sync through Bluetooth to my 6SE.
Now it connects, but starts to synce then fails.
  • This is happening to both my Epix and Fenix 3. They both sync but none of my steps are showing up. The new update screwed up the sync.

Same problem. Worked fine until update hit on 2/14/17....now phone and devices say they are connected, but sync process fails....I have unpaired devices, uninstalled/reinstalled GC app, etc. and same issue persists...help! Worked flawlessly before the update hit a few days ago...

Has anyone contacted Garmin about this?
  • Can't sync your activity? Try this

Make sure on your phone (in connect app) that your activity tracking LIVETRACK is stopped.
    On your mobile:
    1. Load connect on your phone
    2. Click more (at the bottom)
    3. Click LiveTrack
    4 End the activity
    5. Close and start the app

On your watch, make sure it is also ended there as well.
    1.goto Settings
    2. Activity Tracking
    3. Stop activity/LiveTracking

If you can not end the LiveTrack on your watch, back all the way out and start a new activity

select run activity and start. Wait a second or two, then end it. This will sync the Activity Tracker switch on the phone and watch and should resolve your issue.

Now try to sync your watch/device.
  • It seems to be working again.

    GC syncing since 15/02/2017

Same problem. Worked fine until update hit on 2/14/17....now phone and devices say they are connected, but sync process fails....I have unpaired devices, uninstalled/reinstalled GC app, etc. and same issue persists...help! Worked flawlessly before the update hit a few days ago...

Why Garmin has not done anything about this problem? My F220 stopped syncing since 15th Feb '17. Sent message to Garmin but no reply and the problem still persists.
