Manual import of activity to Garmin Connect no more possible

Garmin has just modified Garmin Connect quite a lot. Previously I used to import my cycling activities from Edge 810 to Garmin Connect via Manual Import. It seems that Garmin has now removed that possibility. They want us to perform these tasks via Garmin Express. Now I don't want to run that software in my computer every time I just would like to import my activity to Garmin Connect. Pretty sure that there are lots of other Edge owners who think just the same way. Reason is that Garmin Express will at the same time install the latest firmware to the Edge and I don't want that to happen.
Please Garmin, restore that manual activity import possibility to Gamin Connect!

There is an option to click the + in the upper right corner and select import data. This FAQoffers recommendations for manually uploading files.
