importing .csv files to garmin connect

Hi, I have a forerunner 310XT which is a fantastic watch! my activities saved on the watch were inadvertently (?!) uploaded into my husband's garmin connect account and so I am trying to transfer the stats to mine. he has saved the .CSV file from his activity page but when I try to import it to my garmin connect account it doesn't like the file type. cannot see any other options for saving this information - is there a way I can transfer the data from his account to mine?

He'll need to open each activity in Garmin Connect, then "Export to TCX." Then login to your GC account, go to "import data," then drop the TCX files onto that page or browse to their location.

The TCX file format will contain all of the data for the activity, which the CSV format does not.
