Editing the title of an activity changed the distance down to zero

Here's an example activity:

EDIT: Nuts... I put the wrong link up there. The bug did happen with that run, but after the bug happened I manually typed the distance back into the activity. Here is another activity that I edited, just to see if I could recreate the bug: https://connect.garmin.com/modern/activity/1518152296

Note - It was the "full edit" page that I used to change the title, i.e. the pencil icon in the upper right of the activity. I typed in the new title and hit save, and when it brought me back to the activity the distance was 0.0.

Where does it say the distance for the activity is zero?

I don't see it.

The same thing happened to me this afternoon: a 4.75 mile run suddenly turned into a zero mile run on Garmin Connect after I changed the name of it. The map and everything else looked fine but it shows as zero miles.

I don't see it.

I don't what happened, but saw this shortly after it was posted I looked at it and it was showing ZERO distance.

Now it shows the distance.

Maybe you just need to refresh the page afterwards.

That being said, I've just changed the title on one of mine and all worked as expected.

It happened to me yesterday evening after a treadmill run. The distance and pace etc were showing ok, I changed the name and then it showed 0km and the pace was wrong. I edited the activity, reinput the distance, and all was fine again.

It hasnt happened today though after my lunch walk.

@MJLAMORA- this is something that we want to look at further. I am not able to reproduce this issue are you able to provide the steps that you are using to edit the activity so we can investigate further. Also your activity example is locked. Would you be able to change the privacy setting so that we can look at it.

sorry I see the edit in your post where you provide some of the information requested. But the activity is still locked.

@MJLAMORA, Thank you for unlocking the activity and updating the original post. I have been able to recreate the issue using the edit method that you describe. This is something that we are going to investigate to determine the root cause. In the mean time we would recommend using one of the other title edit methods in Garmin Connect, as we are only able to recreate when using the one you describe.
