Replacing lost window from Dashboard

My dashboard had a window on it that showed the last four or so activities. Somehow as I was editing some activities, I switched this window to Connections, which I don't use, and I cannot see how to get the original window back. Can anyone help me with this please?
  • From the help;

    How do I add a feature to a dashboard?
    • View the dashboard where you want to add the feature.
    • Select the menu in the top left corner. (It looks like 3 stacked lines.)
    • Choose the feature and slide out the description to the right of the name.
    • Select “Add to Dashboard.”
    The feature will be added to the first dashboard. Look for it below your existing features.

    You need add the Activities one and in it's settings set it to List View.

    Restoring window to Dashboard

    That's great, but I still cannot get the exact window that I had back. It had about three or four activities listed, and if I clicked on one, it opened a page with all recent activities on, from which it was easy to select and edit one. I have tried about everything you suggested, but I cannot get either of those back - just a line by line list of activities, that does not take me to this edit page. Where did it go?
  • Normally I'd take and post a (possibly animated) screenshot, but since your description is rather garbled and confusing, I'm going to reply in kind with words only.

    I have no idea which edit page you were talking about. There is one for editing the summary data for a single activity, and a different one (‘Quick Edit’) for changing multiple non-numeric attributes for one or more activities at once.

    There is a cogwheel icon for just about any widget (or ‘feature’) that you can place on a dashboard in Garmin Connect online, which gives you access to settings for the widget. The settings menu for the Activities widget allows you to select a List View (as opposed to Recent Activity). Clicking on one of the Activity names in the list view will bring up the particular activity on a full page; clicking on ACTIVITIES in the widget will take you to the Activities page, on which a paged list/table of your activities are presented, with checkboxes to make multiple selections possible. In either case, to edit an activity would require an additional mouse-click.

    There are 3 different places that can display activities. All will take you to the details of the activity if you click on the name of the activity.

    Connections will display the last 3 activities of any of you connections, if it is set to Activity Feed under the Gear Options.
    Groups are similar, but will display the last activities of those in the group.
    Activity List will display either a list of your last 10 activities or a mini-view of you last single activity as set by the Gear Options.
