    I don't know if it will help with an iPhone, but I've been tracking my woes with an VAHR and Android here:

    I've just posted a solution which should appear after moderation. It seems that Connect is bugged and tells you that your VAHR is not connected, ignore it.

    Using only your phone's bluetooth and VAHR bluetooth settings, repair your device (unpair, pair again). Connect will still list the device as unpaired, just ignore it. Now, on your VAHR under bluetooth settings you have a 'sync' option. Use this and it syncs with Connect fine. Then if you go into Connect -> devices, it shows as connected too. It will still disconnect sometimes, but it's the quickest, most reliable method of re-connection I've found.

    If it helps with the iPhone too, let people know!
