I've been having this issue happen to me ever since January 1st 2017... i'd been using my Vivoactive HR for a month prior to that and had no issues adding certain data when cycling or rowing by going in the "Activities" screen (which show all my activites), clicking the single activity, and then i used to click the "pen" icon top right to edit the data.
As a result of that, my activity would show up with the added data once i saved, the same number of graphs would be there.
Jan 1st forward, when i'd do that, for some reason, only the heart rate graph would stay (after i'd saved) and no further options to edit would be available. So the activity detail would only show that graph, no other data at all.
I played around and then noticed that if i clicked the "gear" icon and THEN clicked "edit" it would then keep the data and graph on the single activity detail page... so i kept doing that for maybe 2-3 weeks.
Lo and behold, this morning, i used the same gear icon | edit, make the modifications and save... back to the issue where only the heart rate graph remains, everything else being deleted from the activity page.
Anybody run into this?
