Cannot Remove Duplicate Device

I was having sync issues between my Fenix 3 HR and the GC iphone app. Deleted the app and reinstalled it. I reconfigured my Fenix 3 HR after I reinstalled it and it synced up. The problem now is that I have the "old" Fenix 3 HR" still present under Garmin Devices, along with my newly configured Fenix 3 HR. The "old" device is first in the list with "attention required" and a red exclamation mark to the right. If I tap on it, I get an error message "Device Not Connected" with options to either "Add Device" or "Cancel". If I add the device, it won't detect it. There appears to be no option to remove it. Please advise on how to remove the old duplicate entry. Also note the version for the Garmin Connect app is 3.13.2.2 I'm using an iPhone 5s with IOS 10.2 (14C92).

    I have the same problem on the Windows 10 version of the GC Mobile app. Did you ever solve this? Among other problems, it seems to prevent me loading new watchface from IQ to the F3.
