Syncing Workouts Error

I am attempting to sync my workouts, but I receive the error "We were unable to process your request. Please try again later."

There is no more information than that to help the troubleshooting. Any ideas?

  • Are you trying to send previously recorded activities back to a device? If so, you can't.

Are you trying to send a mass of custom workouts to your device? If so, where did you create them?
  • Thanks for the assist.

No, all workouts are in the future. Can you select the dates?

I am sending a mass of workouts, but they were created by selecting training plans.
  • I am having the same issue... before i can even click send mine is saying that the device is full, but my device has no workouts or training plans present at all. It also has 14mb free on the device, so that is definitely not the case. Then when it says it will overwrite i tell it to send them anyways and it sends the same error you describe and locks up.
  • Figured a work around out

Syncing 200 workouts is too many for Garmin to handle. I had to unschedule two training plans, then send my workouts to my device.
  • I haven't sent training plans to my device for a long while (920XT), but I do remember that the device could only handle so many at a time. In the end, if I remember correctly, I settled on sending 1 month at a time ~ 20 workouts give or take.

Browner40 Free memory on the device is not necessarily the same as free memory for storage of scheduled workouts. I'm uncertain exactly how storage is allocated but I never have more than 1 week of recorded activities on my device (that can be up to 20 hrs of training), and always clear courses and workouts when I've finished with them.
