I have a Vivoactive HR and had downloaded a new watch face app. It worked fine for 3 weeks and then suddenly my Garmin reverted to the factory default watch face. I no longer had the app on the watch. So I downloaded it again and it worked...except I cannot change background and text colors on the app. It does not give me the menu options to do so. If I go back to the factory app, the menu options for background and text are there. I set them to a white background with red numbers as it seems easier to read. But if I change watch face apps, they automatically show up as black background. I tried several apps with the same result. The only option available in the settings menu is the time itself.
Edited: Disregard, I was finally able to figure out that I had to change the colors by using Garmin Connect instead of a menu choice on the watch itself. Problem resolved!
