Activity Recorder with my Fenix3 is not uploaded to Runkeeper

Hi,

I have "authorized" garmin to upload automatically my running activities to runkeeper.

Even though all the runs that I am recording with my FR630 are automatically uploaded to Runkeeper, those that are recorder with my Fenix3 are not.

any ideas ?

  • Try using https://tapiriik.com. When I tried the direct connection from Garmin Connect to Runkeeper, it was very erratic and didn't work most of the time. tapiriik rarely fails. It's unfortunate, since the connection from GC to Strava and SportTracks works reliably.

    I am using it in order to have my activities exported in dropbox.. :)
    it is a solution but I would like to find out why for my FR630 is working and not for the Fenix3. (both watches are exporting .FIT as original, so according Runkeeper should work).
    I have also sent an email to them. let's see what they will answer. :)
  • Let us know if they do answer. It'd be nice if it worked reliably like the connection to Strava and SportTracks. For me it was failing with files from my Edge 800.

    Well.. they did answer......

    I've sent them the files, I disconnected the apps and re-connect them... I uninstalled runkeeper app and re-install it.. I've done all they propose but still nothing..

    :(

    All the other apps I use they don't have any issue..

    Thanks for trying all of that out, and for all your patience John! It sounds like you're running into one of our recently discovered Garmin issues here with certain Fit Files not syncing over. The team is aware of this problem and we're working on it as we speak!

    As soon as we have any new information I'll be sure to update you with either a permanent solution or potential workarounds in the interim.

    the issue seems to be with the file size. and I am saying this because previous week on activity with my Fenix3 which was less that 12km was uploaded normally in Runkeeper and yesterday one big 19,91km with my FR630 wasn't. But my warm up 3km was..
