Total time for event is wrongly being assigned move time at GC

As the title says, all my activities show move time for both move time and elapsed time. In other words, the elapsed time is being set to move time even though it should be longer due to stops along the way. I have the fenix 3 but not sure if the watch has anything to do with it. It also appears okay when I first look at Garmin Express, but later, given some time later the elapsed time is set to move time. Anyone else have this issue?
  • Do you have Auto Pause set for that activity.
  • I have auto pause when biking and no auto pause when running. This problem happens in both sports, biking and running.
  • Post a link to the activity. Are you editing the activity in the GC app on android?
  • Here is a run yesterday with manual pause (which I did several times)

And here is a bike ride with auto pause on, which occurred several times as well
    https://connect.garmin.com/modern/activity/1470260026

Once in a while the elapsed shows correctly but I have no clue why it works occasionally (and doesnt work most times)

    No editing at all.

Should have paid more attention to your question. I wasnt sure what you meant by edit but I do use GC app on my android phone to give the activity a name. And guess what, that seems to be the issue. I experimented and for now it seems that if I rename the activity in the GC computer the time stays fine. Will try that from now on and see what happens.

    Thanks
  • If you want to fix your activities, Export Original, delete and reimport. And, of course, do not edit in Android!

By the way, take a look at the word "Summary Data: Edited" just above you Gear on the lower right of an activity in GC web - it indicates the problem. It got edited even tough you didn't touch it.

So far as long as I dont edit in GC mobile I do not have the issue. So I have a few activities where I edit the name and change gear in GC on the PC and no issue, edit on android and I have the issue.
