Cannot download to my 310XT

Hi,
I have some problems on my 310XT for a few weeks. I'm still able to upload my activities on Garmin Connect (through Garmin Express). Unfortunately, the reverse path does not work (from the PC to my 310XT): in fact, Garmin Express fails at each synchronization attempt....

Any idea ?
It seems more a software problem rather than an issue related to my watch.

(already tried the hard reset)

Are you trying to send a course to your 310XT?
    Yes :(
  • What is the process you're using?
Some ways that are pretty much error proof, mainly using an existing Garmin Connect activity and saving as a course. Then send to device.
Another way is to save a route in a 3rd party app, such as plotaroute.

    • Create the route on the plotaroute site
    • Download as GPX
    • In GC import file
    • Save as course
    • Send to device
    • Once successful delete the "fake" activity from GC

I was a bit wrong in my explanation.

    Usually, what I did:
    - Creating my route on openrunner.com (similar to plotaroute)
    - Downloading the GPX.
    - Uploading to GC (it creates an activity)
    - Downloading directly to my 310XT.

As you suggested, this fake activity has now to be make saved as a course. Final step: downloading the course.

And now it works... I don't know why but everything is fine. Thanks for your quick reply!
