Feature Request and Monopoly Break request

Id like to be able to use Spark calories and app within Garmin connect instead of MFP being the only source to use in Garmin. Since I can already use garmin inside spark I hope it can be used both ways. I dont like that MFP has a Monopoly over users inside the Garmin connect app. I think other Calorie apps should be listed for a user to choose from instead of being forced into a 2nd app they otherwise dont want or wouldnt use.
  • For a second, I thought you wanted your Garmin fitness wearable of choice to offer MONOPOLY® as a new activity type that can be tracked, along with Ashtanga yoga, extreme ironing, and wingsuit flying.

There is neither monopoly nor third-line forcing since, notwithstanding your logically invalid claim above, the Garmin (fitness device and/or Garmin Connect service) user is not forced to use MyFitnessPal – I know I do not use it. You don't have to track your food/calories intake (much less on an online service platform and/or with an app); and, if you choose to track it of your own volition and in the absence of duress, you don't have to use MFP, since platform integration and electronic data interchange with Garmin Connect is not itself the goal.

If you want to track your intake and you also want platform integration, then you put yourself in your position of reviewing and choosing only from what's on offer in the market, as all consumers do with any selection of products and/or services to use.
