garmin 230 safe mode disable vibrate

Hello,

My watch goes to safe mode several times but before going to it it opens a 30 sec window.

Then vibrates every 5 secs.

How can I disable that annoying vibration. I do not need to know that it goes to safe mode.

Thank you in advance....
    • What safe mode? I think you're referring to the power save timeout, which returns the FR230/235 device to low-power mode displaying the watch face automatically after a period of inactivity and lack of interaction.
    • The vibrating alerts come every 10 seconds during the 30-second countdown, not every 5 seconds, in my experience with the FR230/235 (at least in all firmware versions up to 5.40).
    • You can avoid the issue altogether by manually returning the FR230/235 to the watch face display after use, instead of waiting for the power save timeout to kick in.
    • You can disable vibration in the Sounds settings on the FR230/235.

    Hi ASmugDill,

Thank you for your answer, yes I was referring to the power save timeout. I always try to leave the face watch but it was changing probably by clicking buttons without know it.

I had blocked the buttons. Hopefully, that will stop my issue.

    Thank you
