Workout - Adding Steps to a repeat

I may be losing it, but recently I was able to add a step to a repeat, such as a pool workout.

1) Create a Repeat
2) Create a new Step
3) Drag and Drop the new step inside the repeat.

I try this now, and it will only let me move the new step up and down in the order, but not inside the repeat.

Did I miss something?

I just checked and I am still able to do this. I did notice that it is very twitchy while dragging the step and a tiny amount of change in the position you are holding it will put it somewhere else. Try holding it over the repeat and make small moves up or down until the line shows you'll be inserting the step where you want.

You may be. As far as I know (or recall), you can add steps to a repeat for all other types of custom workouts except pool workouts.
  • 5 years on and the interface is still twitchy and insanely frustrating to use. It is literally a 5-minute fix to make the receiving container a few more pixels bigger.

  • Does anyone else find creating workouts via the Connect web interface to be frustrating?

When trying to drag a step into a repeat box the line jumps all over the place and it's like threading a large line into a VERY small needle. It drives me crazy. Please just make the pixel size of the container bigger, it's a 5 minute CSS change.

Also can we please have a clone step option? When putting in Recovery or Rest steps, I just want to copy-paste not create a new step for every activity within the workout.

Such simple improvements would make a massive difference.

  • yes it's hard - I find that this works.
add a step.  expand it as if you are going to edit it.  then drag it into the Round.  somehow it being a larger box makes it easier.
