How do I retrieve an activity deleted by mistake

I deleted an activity by mistake --
Can the deleted activity be retrieved?

Connecting device again -- it still has the activity in it -- doesn't re-upload the activity.

I wanted to delete one lap --
how should I have done that?
can it be done?

If you really deleted it directly on the device, then the activity is lost (unless you back up regularly…

That's 32 fit files, all wellness and sleep data with no activities, as far as I can tell. You need it all recovered?

I deleted activity from Garmin on phone by mistake tried to resend from my watch Garmin 235 but there is nothing in history menu to reshare all. Can anyone help
