Progress Summary

I'm have a new Forerunner 10 that I got to track my walking distance. So far i am reasonable happy with it but have a problem with Garmin Connect Reports. When I sign onto Garmin Connect and select Reports from the Menu in the upper left corner I do NOT see Progress Summary as an option (the link is https://connect.garmin.com/modern/report . However, thru a search on this forum I found this link https://connect.garmin.com/modern/reports which does bring up the Progress Summary.

Is it me or Garmin Connect? I can live with the way I now work around but it would be good if Progress Summary did appear as a Reports option.
  • Which browser on which platform are you using?

The options in the small widget do not allow for a Progress Summary Report.
But if you click on the setting Gear in the report and go to full page view then you have the Progress Summary option.

    Firefox.
  • Firefox is problematic for many functions within Garmin Connect, as discussed here, and here.

I am guessing that you are referring to the 'gear' in the Report box on the dashboard. I then did see a 'Full Page' but when clicked I still did not see a Progress Summary. I tried signing in using IE but the WIFI connection that I have took forever versus Firefox relatively quick opening. I then went to Verizon and IE which was also VERY slow but finally did open and when I clicked on Reports in the Menu it showed me the Progress Summary. I was also able to click on the 'gear' in Reports box on the Dashboard and also was able to see the Progress Summary.

So, I guess it is an issue with Firefox and Garmin Connect.

    Thanks for your help!
  • I normally use Chrome, but tried IE and Edge.

In all 3 I don't see Progress Summary as an Option in the dashboard widget, but I see in the full page view.

Firefox on which OS platform is also part of the equation.

Interestingly, Progress Summary continues to appear in Firefox on my iPad Air (now running iOS 10.1.1).

However, widgets are not shown on any of my Garmin Connect dashboards in Firefox,

although I have no problem with Safari or Chrome running on the same iPad.

I can see widgets on Firefox from iPad and Windows 10 PC.
