Duplicate Runs

Every time I go for a run and save the workout it seems to duplicate the activity on Garmin Connect and also my Strava account as a group activity....even though I'm the only one doing it.

I'm not even sure why it is doing this but it's getting quite frustrating having to constantly go back and delete the duplicate.

I use a Garmin HRM when I run so I thought this could possibly be the reason for the duplication?

Is anyone aware of the reason for this? Or know how to stop this from happening?

Thanks in advance for your help guys...even If I can at least understand why it's happening would be nice.

Check this one

Today I went for a run with my 620, Vivosmart and I wore my heart rate monitor. I have my Garmin Connect Mobile linked with Myfitnesspal.
I didn't start an activity with the Vivosmart and I still got duplicate activities logged in Garmin Connect and Myfitnesspal.

It seems to me the Vivosmart detected my HRM or that I was running and automatically created a run activity for Connect.

Any of y'all experience something similar?

If your vivosmart is connected to your HRM, it becomes an activity for the vivosmart.
