Data not syncing between Garmin Connect and NRC

Hi there,

Hopefully someone out there can help me. I had been enjoying how well my run data was syncing between my Garmin Connect app and my Nike Run Club and mapmyrun apps for quite some time. After my latest run yesterday the info is not syncing to the NRC app for some reason. I tried reauthorizing and reauthorizing Garmin Connet through the NRC app but every time I try it shows me a screen with the Garmin Connect icon on the left, the Nike icon on the right and a big nasty X in the middle. I've tried everything I can think of such as restarting the phone. My apps are all updated, my iOS is updated. I logged into my account on the Connect website and in the setting I saw that Nike had been authorized a bunch of times. I reauthorized all of them, tried again. I still get that screen showing the two logos and the X between. When I go back to my Garmin account it shows Nike is authorized again. But still no run data is syncing. I'm pulling my hair out here, this used to work so well. How do I solve this? Thanks if anyone is able to help.

  • Hi Rod,

I had that issue in the past. since you authorized again the connection between Garmin and Nike, export your activity (as a .fit), delete it and import it again..

that should work. Or at least worked for me.. :)

PS1. The nasty X is , if I remember correct, to de-authorize the connection.
PS2. there is a possibility that in mapmyrun to have the activity double. in this case you have to delete one.

I'm having the same issue. I've just tested to delete and import .fit, and it have worked. However, just for the file I upload. Is this solution a workaround you need to do for every workout?
It's curious that my strava is synchronizing well without any problem.

only for those that are not synchronized. Any new should be uploaded automatically.

You are right! I've just put a dummy run on the watch, and it went correctly to nike app. Thank you very much.
Garmin should take a look at this, because it's clearly a SW bug.

Thanks John, I've just tested here in my watch, and the run went correctly to Nike NRC. Garmin should take a look at that, because it's clearly a software bug.

well... I wouldn't be so sure..
I believe that it is from NRC.. because lately they have manage to ruin a good app that they had..
I am just synchronizing still with NRC because I have all my runs there, I like their photo sharing through the app and I am a big fan of Nike products.. :D
they had and other good things but.... :(

Thanks for the suggestions. I wound contacting Nike Run Club support and they seem to have found a bug that has now been fixed.
