My Forerunner 735xt rebooted in my sleep, i woke up and went to the gym and did a workout, without realising the date had reset so it saved my workout for a week in the past, i went to my garmin connect and manually changed the date to the correct date, but the calories burned and intensity minutes are not showing on my current day so all of my stats are off, wondering if i can fix this, software 7.10
I read it as you having a 235 which is of the same generation as the VAHR, but I see that you have the 735. Don't have any idea of how similar they are, but I am leaving this as it might be of some help.
I suspect that it is lost.
I had something similar happen with my VAHR. What I found out is that data for an activity that has been started and finished such as a run is saved in the device during a reset.
But for data that is accumulated such as steps, calories, and intensity minutes they are wiped out, but what has been down loaded stays in connect.
For example if you did 45 IM in previous days and then 20 after the reset the watch will show 20, but after the next download connect will show 65.
The best thing that you can go after a reset is to make sure that the time is synced before downloading. This is based on the WAHR, but I suspect that they are similar.
I don't the order if you sync/download with a phone.
But if you select an activity that uses GPS and are by a window or outside wait for it to acquire the GPS. That not only sets the time, but also the date, and the time zone.
Setting the time manually on the watch does not set the data/time zone.
BTW, there is a 735 forum which might have some more specific answers.
