# of steps per year?

How come Garmin Connect shows only activity (running km) per year, but doesn't do the same for steps? It's only showing the last 6 months...not to mention it doesn't convert to kilometers, so you have to do it manually. Very disappointing!!!

My Connect, under Reports, Wellness, Steps only show the monthly (for 12 months) only shows the bar graph. It does not show the total or average.

The Progress Report has lots more options, but it does allow any reports of the wellness parameters.

I think that the display of fitness information could be better.

The first screen shot above shows the Reports widget from the dashboard. If you are looking at the "full" Reports window as you describe, there are no totals visible!. It is very strange that GC shows more data in the widget that in the full window but that appears to be the case.
  • Not brilliant, but you can get annual totals if you take a screen shot of monthly steps just before midnight on December 31 each year. The program is pretty bad for this. The lack of encouragement for 5, 10, 15, 20 etc. million step milestones is also annoying.

  • or if you wait 11 months, you can get the total steps for all previous years in December. Or you can do some math to add/subtract monthly totals. It’s pretty crappy. Garmin should add a utility to calculate the totals between any two dates at leats.
