Unable to transfer course to 920XT

Hi,

Each time I try to transfer a course to my 920 XT i get the following error:

Some files could not be sent to your device

courses (Transfer Error)

I am trying to send the file using my usb connection. I have a green dot saying my forerunner is connected.

Any help appreciated

How are you creating the course? In Garmin Connect? Some other software?

Hi,

It is a route I run frequently, I have saved the course on Garmin Connect, and now wish to transfer it to my 920XT.

I used the data from a previous activity to save the course.

Does anyone have ideas as to how this can be fixed?

Maybe the activity or course is corrupt and won't load. Can you send a link to your activity and course so I can see if I can upload it onto my 920XT?

I was not able to transfer this course to my 920XT without the error "There was an error syncing with Garmin Connect."
However, I was successful after doing a "save as," then sending the course.

I was able to Send to Device via GE without any problems. Have you had any success doing as SEILOGRAMP suggested?
