Change EMERGENCY CONTACT

Hi guys,
I put emergency contact for the incident detection on Garmin Connect for my Edge Explore 820, unfortunately one is wrong, there is any way to change or delete a contact?
I was really not able to find out how to.
Thanks a lot.
Marco

Was not stupid question, indeed, at this day is not intuitive at all in iPhone.
Looking a solution for it in internet or manual was not success.

    Solution:
To change an emergency contact it is necessary for go in the garmin connect mobile app to "more (right down menu) --> Setting --> Emergency Contacts --> click at the right side from the contact to change": then will appear a popup to remove the contact. After delete the non desired contact will be possible to add other.

I have a similar problem with the incident detection on my new Garmin 520 plus. Too sensitive to use and cannot disable on the Garmin device itself - just turns back on automatically. The only way to disable seems to be remove all emergency contacts via Garmin Connect as per Sergius's instructions. A poor experience after years of faultless use from a Garmin 810....Peter

  • That is the only solution I have found for the same problem on my Edge 520.

Had to research this answer for my wife. The swipe IMO sure isn't intuitive.

My wife could't delete emergency contacts. Had to research this.... I don't feel that the swipe is intuitive at all.
